This short film was the final project for a senior-level directing class at Northwestern College. It was written and produced over the the span of two months with no budget. The film was shot at various locations around Minneapolis. It deals with themes of loneliness, isolation, and belonging.

First Place: 36-Hour Digital Video Challenge - iNRB 2011

The Northwestern College 36.DV team completed this PSA in 36 hours at the 2011 NRB convention in Nashville. We met with the client, gathered information, wrote copy, and produced the film all within this window of time. A panel of three judges awarded us First Place for this PSA.

Based upon the poem by Edwin A. Robinson, this short film tells the story of a young man trying to find a meaning in a life of apparent success. It deals with themes of appearences, motivation, and the search for meaning in life.

This piece was created for a client while I was working at Main Point Media. We went on location to shoot interviews and B-roll. I then edited the footage to meet the specifications and goals of the company.

This short film depicts the struggle of a young woman whose outward happiness and popularity only thinly veil her inner emptiness. Unsuccessfully, she tries to satisfy her thirst in many ways before she finally finds a source of metaphorical fresh water.
