Micah J. Murray: a Thousand Words

url:    http://www.micahjmurray.com
built: Spring 2006
type: photography and writing

I first created a personal website in April of 2005, after a three-week web-design course. My main purpose was to display my photography and writing. In April of 2006, I completly rebuilt my site with a new grunge look. In addition to the original HTML design, it is fully integrated with my xanga blog. I use my site as a portfolio for photography as well as a sample of my web design work for potential clients.

Lights Out: the Movie

Lights Out is an independent film created by White Horse Productions in Minnesota. I was the still photographer and the web designer for the film. After doing photography during principle shooting in December 2005, I created this site using almost all my own photography. It includes bios of both cast and crew, news, a synopsis, and a photo gallery.

Love: My Anti-Fear

"Love: My Anti-Fear" is a phrase coined by my good friend Harmon, based on I John 4:18. I put those words together into a logo, and began to design and sell t-shirts to promote the idea. I built this site to explain "Love: My Anti-Fear" and to sell the Anti-Fear products. It includes a photo gallery and a PayPal-based shopping system.

Expressions Photography

Irina Yoder is a photographer based in Virgina Beach. I created this site as a portolio for her photography business. In addition to several photo galleries, it includes pages with pricing information and a customer response page.

Vote Kelly and Tori 2006

I built this site for a friend's TeenPact campaign. She was running for vice president in a national teen political organization. Using the logo and the photos provided, I designed this site to displayed campaign and contact information. Since the election, the domain has expired. However, it is still on my server for display purposes.
